BONGOB, MECUDA/Meta is matching on whether someone likes or not. It is not a coincidence, that the entire clan has been galvanized within the past few months following the MECUDA end of 2022 Meta Cultural and Arts Festival, The MECUDA/Mbengwi Council Agricultural Exhibition and the ADM/AGM. After touring all the villages of Meta, maybe just a few left, it was observed that mist of our palaces no longer resemble us as a people at all.
MECUDA in her renewed good sense, ousted messages of encouragement to all sons and daughters of Meta to look inwardly into their various palaces and give them facelifts as part of our development and cultural strategies. You today, many villages have accepted this call and things are happening. The great people of Tuanyang to the lead with the support of MECUDA and reconstruction work is on going in the palace, My own beloved Mbengwi join the ranks to add more color to that palace, Njah-Etu " big pass Cameroon" saw need to renovate a few aspects of the palace to Meta people in their palace for the just ended MECUDA launching of the farming season in Meta, as we speak, the elegant people of Funam are currently galvanizing their people and the entire Meta people to support them to give that palace the modern look, combined with the Meta tradition that the palace deserves. Yesterday, the palace of Guneku exhibited the power of unity. See the splendor of our culture, see unity orderliness and understanding amongst our fathers, the Fons. I thought that the social media veteran champions in setting confusion within the clan would have been very observant yesterday but like many commented, the contestation being fueled on social media might have failed to fine more reason to carryon because, what our eyes and those of the cameras saw amongst our fathers was: orderliness, protocol, unity, cohesiveness, and in that circumstance, peace reigned yesterday. Even the rain that hovered above the sky in Guneku saw no need to disrupt the occasion and gave way to mild sunshine and this event went as planned. The God of peace is in and with us in Meta. The social media champions is disruption should get ready to be "born again" and leave our fathersn free from stress.
The Meta traditional dances are so captivating to the general admiration of many other people of non meta origins and the Mborroros were not left out. But you a Meta man from above rather concluded that the Meta culture has been mortgaged and monetized. What a sarcasm!!! or a mismatch. So, those of ours in the USA, who dance American music which we dance and enjoy here also, could it be that the Americans have mortgaged their culture?? If there's one thing I as PG of MECUDA have observed for the past one year that is not getting right with many of our people, that thing is: "Negativity". The Mborroros, came, witnessed, admired and jumped into the ranks to dance with us in total enjoyment, how then could we simplify the occasion in Guneku to be a mortgage and monetization of the Meta culture? Let's see things from the good angle and it shall be well with us.
All the same, next week again, the mobilization to storm the palace of Mankon is on. The sounds and colors of Meta will mesmerize many, even exterior of the clan. BONGOB, fair reasoning will conclude that, these things did or will not happen on their own, some people are thinking forward and ahead of others and added to hard work to see the clan up from slumber. If MECUDA is propelling and the entire Meta clan is set in motion, why not support us so we do more. See what we are doing and start even only from your village, it's still about us, Meta. I urge all of us: to shunt divisiveness, negativity and things of small minds. Rather, admire was is good in a brother and support him so that you too should be admired and supported.
